Gamers Paper is a free web app that gives board game players dynamic rules references, player aids, and score counters — all tailored to your player count and expansions.
I've been working on a new project called Gamers Paper with the goal of giving board game players better player aids. Rather than flipping through rulebooks mid-game, Gamers Paper puts the information you need right at your fingertips — setup steps, turn structure, card references, scoring walkthroughs, and more.

Gamers Paper is a free, browser-based board game companion. You pick a game, set your player count, and the app shows you only the rules that matter for your session. It currently has a growing library of games including Agricola, Faiyum, Grand Austria Hotel, Ra, Dune: War for Arrakis, Dune: Imperium, Castles of Burgundy, Food Chain Magnate, Lords of Waterdeep, and more.
It runs entirely in your browser — no install required. Just visit gamerspaper.com and start playing.
Dynamic Rules by Player Count
Select your player count and Gamers Paper filters out irrelevant rules automatically. No more scanning for "with 2 players, do this instead" buried in a paragraph — you only see what applies to your game.
Expansion Rule Layering
Toggle expansions on and off, and the app layers in all the expansion rules, components, victory conditions, and setup changes seamlessly alongside the base game content. Lords of Waterdeep currently has the most complete expansion support, with more games planned.
Game Components at a Glance
Each game includes a detailed component breakdown so you can quickly reference tiles, tokens, meeples, and other pieces — complete with descriptions and icons.

Score Counters
Some games include built-in score counters that walk you through end-game scoring step by step. Check out Agricola and Ra for detailed scoring walkthroughs that make sure you don't miss any points.
Card References
Quickly look up card details, abilities, and clarifications without digging through the box.
Language Support
The app is ready for multiple languages. Faiyum is currently available in German, and the framework is in place to support any language for any game.
Open Data Model
All game data is structured as open JSON. Anyone can contribute additions or corrections through the GamersPaperData repository on GitHub.
This is still early days, and there's a lot more planned:
Head over to gamerspaper.com and give it a spin. If you have a game you'd like to see added, or if you spot any errors, contributions are welcome at the GamersPaperData repo.
Gamers Paper is built with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform, running as a WebAssembly app in the browser. It also has native Android, iOS, and desktop builds.
